Based in the multicultural city of Leicester, but originally from the county of the red rose, I first took up photography as a means to help cope with my depression and anxiety; through which a love of street and documentary photography was born.
Years later I am fortunate to be doing photography full time for a living and specialise in studio portraiture and documentary wedding photography. I also have a genuine passion for teaching and sharing my photographic techniques and approaches with individuals and groups through workshops and events.
Photography has given me some amazing opportunities through which I have met many incredible people and worked with some fantastic brands.
A typical Northern Lad with a passion for Real Ales and an allergy of small portions, I am a larger than life photographer in more ways than one.
I shoot mainly in the commercial market these days with a range of different clients as well as passing on as much of my knowledge as possible through my social media and workshops that I run around the UK.
My passion is my family, and everything I do is to give them as best a life as possible while doing something I love!
Hailing from Kent (not too far from London), I have frequently worked with some great clients, such as Universal Music, Sony Music, Syco Entertainment, The Metro, Olympus and Panasonic.
I’ve also worked with some amazing influencers in the music business; Sam Smith, The Vamps, UB40, Pixie Lott and Paloma Faith. I also produce cinematic behind-the-scenes videos of photo shoots for my rapidly growing YouTube channel, which reaches over 40,000 views a month.
About Our Podcast
Since originally meeting whilst working on the same stand at the Photography Show a few years back, a genuine friendship between the three of us has developed. We have all stayed in touch as we have a general passion for the same things and a really similar approach to not only photography but to life in general. None of us take life too seriously, and we all love sharing our experiences and tips through the various platforms that we are present on.
The idea with this podcast was to be a natural progression for us all in sharing our experiences as photographers over the years and to pass on as much information and help to those either in the industry or looking to get into it.
